Being non-fungible, each NFT is one of a kind, exists digitally on various platforms, and is traded using cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum through smart contracts. NFTs have created new opportunities for artists to showcase creativity and monetize their work, while offering consumers a sense of ownership over immutable digital assets that cannot be altered or deleted once minted. This article examines key aspects of NFTs and cryptocurrencies and explores their potential future developments.

The gaming industry has emerged as a highly promising sector, accelerated by COVID-19’s global impact and benefiting India significantly. A key concern is protecting the intellectual property of game developers, as IP rights are essential for innovation. This paper examines the importance of IP protection in the gaming industry under Indian laws and relevant legislation, identifying existing legal gaps and proposing recommendations to address them. Since India lacks specific gaming legislation, the authors analyse the current legal position and suggest remedies for these shortcomings.


3. Analysis of Increase of Age of Women for Marriage in India

The Union Cabinet recently raised the minimum marriage age for women from 18 to 21, aligning it with men. While praised for addressing malnutrition and infant mortality, the move has faced criticism, with some arguing it may increase child marriages and that legal reform alone is insufficient without women’s empowerment and independence. The change is expected to strengthen women’s rights, but implementation may require amendments to personal laws such as the Hindu Marriage Act and Muslim personal laws.
